We retired in 2017 and moved back to Texas (just before Hurricane Harvey). Despite the mess made by the Hurricane we are enjoying being back. We are just starting this website and hope to be posting much more material as we explore the Texas Coast, Photograph and learn more about Texas History.

Ty is also an FAA certified professional sUAS (small unmanned aircraft system, or “drone”) pilot. We will also collect some drone videos and still shots as time, weather and opportunities align. There are many restrictions currently on drone flights for professional operators with seemingly continuous modifications to the regulations. Still, there are many opportunities.
We also enjoy sailing the Texas bays in a Com-Pac Sun Cat. The Sun Cat is a somewhat modernized version of the Cape Cod catboats . The Sun Cat is a great trailerable micro cruiser with a small cabin, shallow draft and simple rig. Watch for updates on our sailing page.
